How shipping is priced

Shipping remains quote-required until the selected system, manufacturing origin, packaging dimensions, weight, destination, delivery class, liftgate, appointment, limited-access, and insurance terms are known. Unsupported freight is never hidden inside a guessed product price.

What the quote should state

The accepted quote should identify freight inclusion or exclusion, shipment origin, packaging or crate count, estimated dimensions and weights when available, delivery service, accessorial charges, receiving responsibilities, inspection requirements, and the claims process.

Prepare the delivery site

Confirm truck access, gate restrictions, receiving hours, unloading equipment, labor, elevator and doorway limits, protected staging, weather exposure, and installer handoff before release.

Inspect before signing

Photograph the shipment, inspect packaging and visible product, note damage on the delivery receipt, preserve packaging, and follow the stated claim window. Concealed damage rules vary by shipment and carrier.
